Library Cards

Any resident of Northumberland County (ages 3 and up) is eligible for a free library card.   To obtain a card, you must provide a driver’s license/photo ID and one other acceptable form of identification such as a bill or change of address card. 

Our library does participate in the AccessPA statewide library card program and will honor cards from other Pennsylvania libraries providing they have a blue AccessPA sticker.

Renewals

Patrons can renew their books, magazines, and audiobooks for another two-week period by coming into the Library or calling 570-648-3202.  Any item which is on reserve for another patron cannot be renewed.

Reserve Materials

If an item is out in circulation, you can reserve it by filling out an orange reserve card.  You will be notified when the item you requested is returned.

If there are other patrons waiting for the same item, you will be called when it is your turn.

Interlibrary Loan

If the library does not own the item you are looking for, we will try and get it for you from another library.  All interlibrary loan requests are filled through our District Center Library in Pottsville, and deliveries are made every Thursday afternoon.
