One week from today, local children’s author and illustrator Angela Von Braun will be visiting our library and sharing her most recent book during a special story time session! The book, “Snuggle Bug Babe: The Bedtime Adventures of Dutch”, is a wonderful selection for young children who are just beginning to read. Join us at the library with your little one on Saturday, May 21st at 11 AM!
We hope that everyone who attended the library’s Mother’s Day card making craft on Saturday morning was able to create a unique card that made Mother’s Day extra special for all the mothers that received them yesterday!
**REMINDER** Join us at the library on Saturday, May 7th (10:00AM-11:00AM) for a free Mother’s Day card making craft session for children. All materials needed for cards will be provided so simply bring your imagination and enthusiasm!
Join us library for the next adult crafting class on Tuesday, May 17th at 5 PM! Sign up is required either at the library or by giving us a call at 570-648-3202. A $5 donation fee is required for this class to cover material costs.
This event is another installment of crafting programs made possible by the library’s partnership with the NCCAH.
The library would like to thank Kymbre Shingara for leading our very first “Mommy & Me Belly Dancing” session yesterday evening! The moms and kids both had a blast as you can see in the accompanying photos.
Kymbre will be returning to the library for another belly dancing class on Tuesday, June 21st at 5 PM so be sure to mark your calendars!
