We had a packed house last night for our “Spooky Engineering” STEM program that focused on air power! Each student was able to assemble and decorate a box with a functioning lid that pops up with one push of a button to reveal a vampire, witch, ghost, or a variety of other assorted spooky characters. A special thanks goes to Bloomsburg Children’s Museum for helping us bring educational programs like this into the community.

We had another exciting Monday morning at Preschool Storytime & Movement today! After reading our story and singing our songs, everyone was able to decorate their own Halloween ornament to take home.
Remember to join us on Monday, October 31st (10 AM) for a very special Halloween party that will feature lots of food and fun

**REMINDER** Next week the library will be hosting Bloomsburg Children’s Museum again on Tuesday, October 18th at 6 PM.
In this free class titled “Spooky Engineering”, students (ages 6-13) will learn about pneumatics (air power) and create a box with a pop-up surprise. Sign up soon either at the library or by calling 570-648-3202.

We hope that everyone who attended our most recent adult crafting session yesterday evening had a wonderful time at the library making new pieces of fall décor to display throughout the season. A special thanks goes to Jeanne Shaffer and Joyce Sickora of the NCCA for partnering with us for this event.
