Due to the winter storm we’re currently experiencing, the library will be closed today. We will reopen this Monday (3/14) with our regular hours!

As it’s looking like we may be in for some winter weather tomorrow, please keep an eye on the library’s Facebook page, Instagram, and official website for an announcement concerning if we’ll be open our usual hours from 9AM-1PM!

As spring will have freshly sprung when our next adult craft is held at the library, we will be making “Spring Into Spring” decorative pieces that feature a bird’s nest with eggs and additional greenery all placed upon an actual spring!
This event will be held at the library on March 22nd (Tuesday) at 5 PM.
Registration is $5 to cover material costs and you can sign up either at the library or by calling 570-648-3202. Materials are limited so we will only be registering 15 people for this event. Sign up soon to claim your spot!

We hope everyone that attended the children’s craft yesterday at the library had a splendid time creating snappily dressed leprechauns and eye-catching four-leaf clover suncatchers that are sure to light up a room over the next several weeks just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! Special thanks to NCCAH members Jeanne Shaffer and Joyce Sickora for helping us prepare the crafting materials and being on hand to guide the children through both projects. As always, keep an eye out for future crafting events for both children and adults at your local library!
