Join us at the library next Saturday, April 13 at 10 AM for an “Earth Day Beehive” children’s craft! Working with recycled materials, we’ll be constructing mason bee homes and then of course decorating them as well. Space is limited and sign-up is required, so be sure to claim a spot as soon as you can by either stopping by or reaching out over the phone or through email!

We had quite the packed house for Book Bingo yesterday evening! Whether you’re a frequent visitor or you’re checking out the library for the very first time, you’re welcome to join us for Book Bingo later this month on Thursday, April 18 at 6 PM for bingo, books, and a pleasant evening that family and friends can all enjoy together.
This coming Tuesday (4/9) at 6 PM Bloomsburg Children’s Museum will be visiting us for the first of two STEM programs scheduled for this month. At next week’s program we’ll be learning all about the phases of the moon, crater formation, and then concocting some glow in the dark puffy paint to wrap up the lesson!
To sign up for this free and educational event that’s designed with ages 6-13 in mind, you can visit us at the library or contact us at 570-648-3202 or shamokincoallibrary@gmail.com. Since making the puffy paint could possibly get a little messy, we recommend wearing old clothing just in case!
Don’t forget that Mahjong for Beginners is held every Wednesday at the library from 1-3 PM and is a great opportunity for adults to learn something new while also meeting people from all over the community!

Just a reminder that Book Bingo will be held tomorrow evening (4/2) at 6 PM upstairs at the library. Even if you don’t win any rounds, you’ll still be able to pick out a book of your choice to take home!
As winter finishes melting away and spring comes into bloom more so each day, focusing on the harmony between body and mind can be a great way to ensure a happy and healthy sunny season lies ahead!
Healing Chair Yoga with instructor KymBre Shingara is set to continue at the library with spring sessions scheduled through April. Classes will be held on Monday afternoons from 4:15-5:15 PM at a cost of $10 per class. All adults and abilities welcome!
