Candy Bucket Decorating

We know that everyone who joined us Saturday morning at the library for candy bucket decorating will be trick-or-treating in style this year! A special thanks goes to the NCCA and volunteers Jeanne Shaffer and Joyce Sickora for helping us make special events like this possible.

Fun With Simple Circuits at the Library

We had a very illuminating evening yesterday at the library making anglerfish with light up eyes and antennas! Students were first able to tap into their artistic abilities to color a fish and then were shown how a simple circuit can be constructed using a small battery. We send our thanks to Bloomsburg Children’s Museum for helping us provide educational STEM programs like this for our community!

Upcoming STEM Program Reminder

**REMINDER** Next week the library will be hosting Bloomsburg Children’s Museum again on Tuesday, October 4th at 6 PM.

In this free class, students (ages 6-13) will learn about simple circuits and will make an anglerfish portrait that actually lights up! This illuminating and educational project can then be taken home. Sign up soon either at the library or by calling 570-648-3202.

Halloween Children’s Craft & Candy Bucket Decorating Next Week

Join us at the library just 1 week from today (October 8th) at 10 AM for a Halloween themed children’s craft and the chance to decorate and personalize your very own candy bucket that can be used for trick-or-treating!

All materials will be provided at this free event though we do ask that children are signed up ahead of time. Registration can be done either at the library’s front desk or by calling 570-648-3202.
