Some of our regular Mahjong players earlier this week! Mahjong for Beginners is held every Wednesday from 1-3 PM at the library and is a great opportunity to learn a unique game while meeting new people.

Join us at the library next Saturday (5/11) at 10 AM for a “Flower Child” kid’s craft! Featuring a photo at every flower’s center that will be taken and printed by us that morning, these will make for an excellent gift for parents or grandparents without a doubt.

Space is limited and sign-up is required, so be sure to claim a spot as soon as you can by either stopping by or reaching out over the phone or through email!

Yesterday evening during family STEM night at the library we had lots of opportunities to build and create together! Catch us again or for the very first time next month on Tuesday, May 28 anytime from 5-7 PM.

Join us at the library this coming Saturday (5/4) at 10 AM for a visit from local author Charmaine Welby! Her recent book “Anthracite: Everyday Women – Extraordinary Lives” features short stories about the long lives of ten women from Shamokin and the surrounding Coal Region.

A touching tribute to the power of love, resilience, and the enduring impact of remarkable women on those around them, every page reveals a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the beauty found in life’s everyday moments!

This morning at Preschool Storytime & Movement we read “I Love My Mommy” and after song time had our picture taken with Mom to print and place into a nifty Mother’s Day frame!

Preschool Storytime & Movement is held every Monday morning at 10 AM upstairs at the library.

Don’t forget that tomorrow (4/30) from 5-7 PM we’ll have all of our activity sets up and running for family STEM night. Magna-Tiles, marble runs, and many other exciting additions to our growing collection of educational and entertaining activities will be waiting for you at the library!

Join us tomorrow morning at the library for Preschool Storytime & Movement starting at 10 AM. This free weekly program for little ones always includes a story, songs, crafts, and of course a snack.

This week we’ll be crafting Mother’s Day cards that will feature a freshly printed photo of Mom and her fawn at the center!

Just a reminder that Cookbook Book Club will be meeting back up again at the library tomorrow evening (4/29) at 6 PM. This month we’re set to celebrate every great meal’s unsung hero, the side dish!

We had quite the imaginative group of builders earlier this evening at LEGO Club. Catch us again for another Thursday evening of creativity and fun next month on May 9 and/or May 23 anytime from 5-6:30 PM upstairs at the library!
