What a hoot we had at the library this morning making paper plate owls! Decked out in feathers, bedazzled with jewels, and of course featuring lots of different colors, some truly high flying birds were created. Check out everyone’s owls from today’s children’s craft!

This day is to celebrate the special ability books have in bringing new worlds to life, enlightening us, and transporting readers on exciting new adventures. Shamokin-Coal Township Public Library will be closed for Labor Day this coming Monday (9/4). Normal hours will resume the following day. May everyone have a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend!
