Now that school is out for the summer, the library is the perfect place to go! Whether it’s a crafting event or our weekly Preschool Storytime & Movement on Monday mornings, there’s almost always something happening at the library.
And most exciting of all, Summer Reading 2022 will be here in no time at all with our kickoff event scheduled for Wednesday, July 6th at 10 AM. Over the course of 6 weeks, we will be hosting all sorts of events including live reptiles and aquatic bugs, a magic show, and so much more! And remember, the library is now equipped with a stairlift so everyone will be able to visit the second floor where our weekly Wednesday summer programs are held.
So now as spring heats up and summertime arrives with its sunny days and pure blue skies, take a stroll down Independence Street in Shamokin and pay your local public library a visit.
