Upcoming STEM Program for Kids/Teens

For almost the entire rest of the year, Bloomsburg Children’s Museum will be visiting our library once a month for some imaginative and exciting STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) programs! The upcoming program entitled “Intro to 3D Modeling and Printing” will be held next Tuesday (8/23) at 6 PM. The targeted age range for this event is 7 to 15. While these are free events, we do ask that children are signed up ahead of time as only 20 slots are available each time.

Our next STEM program is “Intro to 3D Modeling and Printing” and will utilize the library’s very own onsite 3D printer. Students will design a personalized 3D-printed key chain. This class will give the students a design tutorial of Tinkercad software, which will provide them with the necessary skills to create their own projects in the future. The lesson begins with a presentation about 3D printers and how they work followed by students having time to design their very own keepsake!
