Check out the beautiful pieces of art our crafters created yesterday evening!
As always, we would like to thank the Northumberland County Council for the Arts for partnering with the library and helping make events like this possible.

With winter weather likely affecting our area tomorrow, be sure to keep a look out for any possible delays/closings on the library’s website or Facebook page!

Despite some winter weather cloaking the landscape in snow, we all still made it to Preschool Storytime & Movement this morning! We read a Valentine’s Day book together, sang our songs, made heart themed headbands to wear home, and had our snack.
Join us Monday mornings at 10 AM upstairs at the library for stories, songs, crafts, and snacks!

Join us for a Valentine’s Day children’s craft next Saturday (2/4) at 10 AM! We will be making button decorated picture frames that surely will make a great gift for someone special this holiday.
To sign up for this free event, either visit us at the library or reserve your spot by calling 570-648-3202.

We hope everyone that attended today’s book signing and discussion with visiting author Philip Mosley enjoyed the chance to delve deeper into our area’s rich history. Additionally, we would like to thank Mr. Mosley for taking the time to visit our library and for sharing his expertise with us all.
Copies of Mr. Mosley’s book “Telling of the Anthracite: A Pennsylvania Posthistory” are still available for purchase ($19.50) at the library as long as supplies last.

We hope everyone that joined us for Book Bingo this evening was able to find some fine reads to enjoy during this winter season. Catch us again on February 7th (Tuesday) and February 16th (Thursday) at 6 PM upstairs at the library!

**REMINDER** Join us at the library this Saturday (1/21) from 11AM-1PM for a special book signing and discussion with author Philip Mosley.
The visiting author will be discussing “Telling of the Anthracite: A Pennsylvania Posthistory”, his most recent publication which dives into the history of our region’s coal mining past. Books are available for purchase ($19.50) at the library as long as supplies last.

We blasted off this evening at the library’s monthly STEM program using air powered rockets! Through a process of trial and error, each student was able to eventually get their self-designed rocket into the air.
We send our special thanks to Bloomsburg Children’s Museum for helping us bring exciting and educational programs like this to the community!

**REMINDER** Students ages 6-13 are invited to join us at the library this Tuesday (1/17) for our monthly STEM program. During this program, students will be learning all about air power. Each student will get the chance to test their skills and knowledge when making their own air powered rockets as part of an engineering challenge.
Join us in order to learn more about the world around you and have a fun time doing it! To sign up for this free program, visit us at the library or call 570-648-3202.
