Raise the Region 2023 Online Giving Campaign Coming Up Soon

The library will be participating in this year’s annual “Raise the Region” online giving campaign! This gives members of our community the opportunity to support local nonprofits by helping them raise as much money as possible during a small window of time. Donations from this strategic and unified effort will support our local nonprofits in addressing the diverse needs of our region.

Raise the Region 2023 will officially begin at 6:00 PM on March 8, 2023 and end at 11:59 PM on March 9, 2023. For a donation to be counted, it must be made through www.raisetheregion.org during the 30 hour giving period. There is a $25 minimum amount but no maximum amount for donations. Your contribution greatly helps local organizations like the library in creating a more vibrant and engaged community!

March 2023 Events Calendar

There’s lots to do at the library this March! Stay up to date by picking up one of our monthly calendars at the circulation desk and by following us on Facebook, Instagram, and www.sctplibrary.com for frequent news and updates about upcoming events at the library.

Lasso a Library Card!

We signed up for our library cards and have the stickers to prove it!

As long as a child is at least 3 years old, resides within Northumberland County and is accompanied by a parent/guardian carrying two forms of identification, they’re eligible for a free library membership/card and the endless opportunities that it offers.
Adults who wish to sign up for a card must simply be county residents and present two forms of identification (piece of mail, change of address card, driver’s license, etc.).

If you haven’t visited your local public library lately be sure to come see us and witness how our organization is continuously growing as an information hub and community asset for all!
