We hope that everyone who attended today’s crafting class at the library had a wonderful time and headed home with a cute snowman just in time for the holiday and winter season!

Congratulations to Lynn Leiby, the winner of the lottery ticket/gift card Christmas tree at the Shamokin-Coal Township Public Library!

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Lisa Eccker for providing the library with a magnificent “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” themed tree. If you adore this tree and its corresponding decorations as much as we do here at the library, we urge you to stop by and make a donation to help us win the annual SABER Tree Contest. Additionally, the library is a designated drop off location for WISL’s “Letters to Santa” initiative so be sure to get your letters all filled out and dropped off at the library!

We hope that everyone who came out to see Santa at the library had a wonderfully festive time!

Due to some ongoing construction work on the second floor of the library, access to the children’s and teen collections will be limited for approximately the next two to three weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding!
As Thanksgiving will soon be upon us, the Shamokin-Coal Township Public Library wishes everyone a lovely holiday full of food, family, and fellowship! The library will be closing at 1 PM on Wednesday (11/24) and will remain closed until Saturday (11/27). Don’t forget that this Saturday will be a very special day at the library as we will be hosting Santa from 10 AM until 1 PM!
