Tomorrow morning at the library the second session of Heart & Soul Chair Yoga will be held at 8:15 AM with doors opening at 8:00 AM. St. Patrick’s Day Party

What a morning we had at Preschool Storytime & Movement! This morning was our St. Patrick’s Day party and we feel quite lucky indeed for such a wonderful turnout. We listened to a leprechaun story, sang our songs, made (edible) shamrock necklaces, and had tons of snack options to choose from. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents that brought goodies for everyone to share!

LEGO Club at the Library

Our young builders were very excited yesterday evening as we recently received a generous donation of nearly a dozen unique LEGO sets! LEGO Club will continue with its new time of 5-7 PM going forward. Future dates for this free event are March 23 along with April 13 & 27!

Upcoming Springtime Kid’s Craft

Join us later this month at the library for the Springtime Kid’s Craft! This month we will be making Easter wreaths all decked out in bunnies and eggs. This free event brought to you by the library in partnership with the NCCA will be held Saturday, March 25 at 10 AM on the second floor of the library. While this is a free event, we do ask that children are signed up ahead of time either at the library or by calling 570-648-3202.

Raise the Region Begins Tomorrow (3/8/23) Evening

The library will be participating in this year’s annual “Raise the Region” online giving campaign! This gives members of our community the opportunity to support local nonprofits by helping them raise as much money as possible during a small window of time. Donations from this strategic and unified effort will support our local nonprofits in addressing the diverse needs of our region.

Raise the Region 2023 will officially begin at 6:00 PM on March 8, 2023 and end at 11:59 PM on March 9, 2023. For a donation to be counted, it must be made through http://www.raisetheregion.org during the 30 hour giving period. There is a $25 minimum amount but no maximum amount for donations. Your contribution greatly helps local organizations like the library in creating a more vibrant and engaged community!
