**REMINDER** The library will be hosting local author Harry Deitz, Jr. for a book signing this Saturday (9/17) at 11 AM.
His recent publication, “Covey: A Stone’s Throw from a Coal Mine to the Hall of Fame”, examines the life of Shamokin native Stan Coveleski and charts one man’s journey from working as a breaker boy in the coal mines to pitching for several major league baseball teams throughout his storied career.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the library for $21.25.
