It was our pleasure to host author Harry Deitz, Jr. this morning at the library. Along with signing copies of his books Mr. Deitz also presented an informative slideshow detailing the life and career of Stan Coveleski, a Shamokin native who played major league baseball and the subject of Deitz’s new book “Covey: A Stone’s Throw from a Coal Mine to the Hall of Fame”.
Copies of the book will remain on sale at the library as long as supplies last.
